The Mona Foundation, was founded in 1999 by a small group of people with a dedication to the same unconditional service to humanity. Mona collaborates with educational initiatives locally, nationally and internationally to ensure children and women receive quality education to improve their economic status.
Mona builds their belief system on one idea: That everyone regardless their race, gender, economic or social status deserves a quality education. And with that belief in mind, education can be a moving force to alleviating poverty and raising the status of women and children.
Since 1999, the Mona Foundation has given their support to 25 projects in 15 different countries and has reached out to 40,000 women and children as of 2011.
Tahirih Justice Center is a national non-profit that has served nearly 19,000 courageous individuals fleeing violence since 1997. Our efficient, effective, and innovative model of service is now delivered from three locations, and we’re committed to serving as many immigrant women and girls as possible.
